Senior Project Manager - (Capital Projects)

Description

• Lead and manage all phases of MEP commissioning activities for healthcare construction and renovation projects.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific standards
• Track commissioning progress, document test results, and prepare comprehensive commissioning reports.
• Provide training and operational documentation to facility management teams.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, equipment vendors, and facility stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for commissioning-related issues and updates.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies, ensuring timely close-out and system turnover.
• Manage pre-functional and functional performance testing of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Review design documents, shop drawings, and submittals to verify compliance with project specifications and healthcare codes.

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 3-7 years of experience in MEP commissioning, preferably in healthcare facilities.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare building systems, regulatory requirements, and commissioning best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
