Prepare and maintain time-phase charts, subcontracts, purchase orders, material orders, and schedules

Attend preconstruction meetings and weekly progress meetings
Monitor traffic control on projects and meet all reporting requirements
Maintain a project diary and provide project updates to management
Ensure the company complies OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulations and reporting requirements
Maintain effective working relationships and effectively communicate with subcontractors and company business departments; support other department personnel as required
Promote and facilitate employee training, mentoring, and development for assigned direct reports; address performance concerns as needed

3+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, project management/estimating or related role
Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear), and perform tasks requiring visual acuity
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to stand/work on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
HCSS, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and/or similar program experience preferred
Frequently exposed to typical construction site conditions, including dust and loud noise, and all weather conditions
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history required
Background in heavy highway, municipal, and/or commercial construction preferred
Proficiency in use of computers and mobile devices (Android/iOS), including MS Office programs required
Frequently required to sit for long periods at a desk using a computer
