Inspect and wash rolls, spacers, chock assemblies, and shafts after removal from the mill.
Follow rolling schedules and coordinator instructions to prepare production tooling for upcoming size changes.
Perform daily lift truck inspections and report issues promptly.
Inspect inductors and impeders for damage and replace as necessary.
Ensure rolls and tooling components are stored properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Check bearings for defects and replace as needed.
Maintain accurate root diameter information for roll trains.
Grease and lubricate roll trains prior to delivery to the mill.
Inspect tooling for damage or wear to ensure reliable mill performance.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Visual acuity required to read and record numerical data.

Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Regular full-time onsite attendance required.
Ability to climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; technical/college degree preferred (military service equivalent accepted).
Ability to reach with hands and arms and handle tools and equipment.
Tube mill manufacturing experience preferred.
