Collaborate with the site safety team to effectively manage and respond to jobsite injuries.
Assist in conducting daily morning safety meetings.
Develop a thorough understanding of safety protocols specific to CCR and heavy civil activities at the assigned job site.
Support the site safety team in performing comprehensive site safety audits.
Participate in weekly safety team calls and provide constructive feedback when appropriate.
Attend site meetings with clients to gain insight into the client-contractor partnership and professional relationships.
This position will travel to designated sites as directed by the Safety Director.
Arrive at the assigned job site on time and prepared to work.

Previous internship experience is preferred but not required.
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program studying Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field

Willingness and demonstrative initiative to learn new programs, systems, and tools as they become available.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel
