The position is for an experienced Assistant Community Manager located in Madison Point, Naranja, FL 33032. It is a full‑time role (30+ hours per week) with a day, night, weekend and holiday schedule, and offers an hourly wage of $18.75. The role is classified under Management and requires Tax Credit experience; bilingual ability is preferred and the employee is eligible for quarterly bonuses.
Reporting directly to the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager serves as the property’s administrative assistant, ensuring understanding and implementation of company policies and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for accurate financial record‑keeping, as well as supporting leasing, marketing, and resident‑relation activities. Excellent attendance, communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build lasting business relationships are essential.
The assistant must be able to perform all functions of a leasing consultant, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed for property business. A government‑issued ID or valid driver’s license is required, along with strong computer literacy, excellent customer service, and proficient written and oral communication. Knowledge of One Site is preferred, and the individual must be capable of stepping in as acting Community Manager when required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of property‑management experience is preferred, especially in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD, or Rural Development programs. The position demands physical ability to access all areas of the property, including multilevel structures, and to work with a computer for at least seven hours daily. Effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, and supervisors is integral to daily operations.
