The CAD technician will execute design specifications accurately and on time to support bridge and vertical structure engineering projects. They will perform project design activities using current software platforms and work closely with engineers and other technicians on assigned projects. The position requires adherence to all company policies and regular attendance.
The Snyder & Associates structural subsidiary, Shuck-Britson, has an immediate need for a CAD Design technician. The role will be responsible for developing vertical and bridge structure design plans using MicroStation, Revit, and AutoCAD software.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience as a CAD technician, with proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD, preferably in a structural application. Experience with or education in Revit is a strong plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to efficient and accurate work, and the ability to contribute both individually and as a team are required. Applicants must be able to meet client service demands and project deadlines, including extended hours when needed, and must be AA/E‑Verify eligible.
