Provide on‑site environmental support and monitoring for the Inland Rail project.

Tasks

-Coordinate and provide day-to-day environmental support to internal stakeholders. -Collection of data and analysis of subcontractor and supplier sustainability performance -Collaborate with construction teams on environmental management requirements to ensure that we meet our obligations and improve performance. -Provide interpretation of results and regular progress reports against environment and sustainability performance targets -Plan and oversee environmental monitoring programs associated with cultural heritage, water, waste, noise, and air. -Assist in the management of environmental issues, including incident investigations. -Implement the Project’s sustainability strategies including the Sustainability Management Plan -Develop strong relationships with clients, councils, regulators, and other community stakeholders. -Support the environmental systems needs of the business including implementation, regular reviews, and continuous improvement. -Promote compliance in project environment and sustainability matters, delivery of training, toolboxes and awareness programs. -Maintain ISO14001 Accreditation requirements. -Submit permits and approvals as required. -Conduct required site inspections and audits.
