Business Development: Collaborate with the team to identify new opportunities, produce proposals, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our Alaska business.
Project Delivery Oversight: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from design development to bid-ready plans, and provide support during construction as needed.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead civil engineer on design projects, guiding design calculations, modeling, and overall project direction. Act as a technical resource for our Alaska offices and nationally, ensuring quality control processes are followed.
Oil & Gas Pipeline and Facility Design: Provide support for the design and development of oil and gas infrastructure.
Project Management: Develop and maintain scope, schedule, and budgets for diverse civil projects, including highways, aviation, bridges, and rail.
Environmental, Planning, and Public Involvement Services: Participate in environmental assessments, planning initiatives, and public engagement activities.
Roadway/Bridge, Rail, Aviation, and Civil Site Design: Engage in comprehensive design projects across these sectors.
Team Leadership: Lead multi-discipline project teams to meet established schedules and quality standards. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
Water Resources Collaboration: Work closely with our water resources team on various projects.

Experience with Design/Build or other alternative project delivery methods is advantageous.
Over 10 years of technical design experience and project management of civil projects, including the development of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Additionally, 5+ years of supervisory experience leading technical teams in similar work.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Alaska.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Blue Beam. Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS web and desktop applications is a plus.
Established client relationships, with a willingness to build new relationships and lead proposal efforts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively in diverse teams.
