The Community Assistant role supports the property‑management team in meeting occupancy and resident‑retention targets by handling leasing, marketing, and customer‑service administration at the community level.
- Perform leasing‑office administrative duties such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls, and organizing rent payments.
- Support sales and leasing efforts by conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, qualifying prospects, and showing apartments.
- Generate required lease paperwork and maintain organized resident lease files.
- Assist with resident move‑ins and move‑outs, treating these dates as mandatory work assignments.
- Answer incoming calls and schedule prospect tours of the property.
- Conduct on‑site marketing outreach to increase community awareness and attract qualified traffic.
- Coordinate resident events and programs (parties, birthday cards, unit visits) to boost satisfaction.
- Schedule and conduct resident visits, and distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys, and notices.
- Serve as an after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and completing at least one on‑call shift per week.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns, taking action or routing requests to the appropriate staff.

The position requires sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 lb independently (or 50 lb with assistance). Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and the schedule includes flexible hours with on‑call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
