Track permit status across multiple jurisdictions and update internal databases and spreadsheets with real-time progress.
Maintain organized records of all permitting documentation, correspondence, and approvals.
Communicate with AHJs, design vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely responses to permit-related inquiries.
Contribute to process improvements by documenting lessons learned and supporting updates to permitting workflows and templates.
Coordinate with the Policy team on local permitting challenges that may require engagement with elected officials or municipal leadership.
Assist in reviewing permit drawings and construction documents for completeness and compliance prior to submission.
Prepare and submit permit applications and support documentation to AHJs in coordination with design and development teams.
Support the Permitting Manager and the Development Engineering team in identifying and addressing permitting delays or escalations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
