- Monitor and improve business processes through analysis and collaboration to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.
- Identify key decision-makers within target client organizations and establish relationships to drive business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and create networking opportunities.
- Conduct thorough and continuous market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business growth.
- Analyze current businesses and departments including markets, financial performance and efficiency for development of business strategy.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Actively engage with industry associations and organizations to stay informed about market trends and potential collaborations.
- Lead key corporate continuous improvement initiatives such as software and technology needs, Lean initiatives and process efficiencies
- Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company's market presence.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Work with the estimating and proposal team to secure profitable contracts while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development goals, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Work with all Traylor Construction Group sister companies to develop opportunities to partner internally as well as externally.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with the company's objectives.
- Ensure that proposals align with client requirements and showcase the company's capabilities.
- Collaborate with the technical and project management teams to develop compelling proposals in response to client requests.
- Drive strategic planning development and implementation
- Communicate schedules and major upcoming events to executive management, as needed.

- Strong understanding of industrial processes, construction, and engineering services.
- Experience with CRM, Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus

- Proven experience (10+ years) in industrial construction.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office –Word, Excel, and Outlook)
