As a Part‑Time Porter you will keep a 112‑unit community clean, safe, and welcoming. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas to enhance the resident experience. Dependability, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
- Complete resident requests promptly and ensure satisfaction.
- Clean and maintain common areas: lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and parking.
- Vacuum carpets, wash and wax hard floors, and clean tile grout.
- Wash walls, doors, and windows in shared spaces.
- Replace light bulbs in common‑area fixtures as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal sites.
- Monitor and restock sanitary and cleaning supplies to maintain inventory.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, minor touch‑ups, and basic repairs.
- Support seasonal duties, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.
- Assist with inventory control of janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when representing the community.
- Complete daily assignments with minimal supervision.

- 1–2 years of janitorial, cleaning, or porter experience in residential or commercial settings.

- Comfortable handling cleaning agents and equipment.
- Knowledge of maintaining, cleaning, and waxing vinyl floors is advantageous.
- Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb.
