Create and maintain annual generation outage schedules across the NSPI fleet, coordinating with transmission, substation, capital projects, and distribution work.
Communicate outage status and impacts to stakeholders, adhering to Open Access Transmission Tariff Standards of Conduct.
Ensure day‑ahead generation and reserve requirements are met despite planned outages.
Collaborate with NSPI Fuels to minimize economic impact of major component outages.
Participate in daily, weekly, and annual meetings with the Outage Plan Coordinator and obtain stakeholder approval for outage plans.
Review and approve all planned transmission switching procedures and provide schedules to System Control Operators.
Verify that all outages have proper approval and documentation before inclusion in daily schedules.

Knowledge of NSPI power system and outage coordination (asset).
Valid driver’s license and availability for after‑hour emergency service.
Ability to pass background check per NERC CIP standards.
