The Outstations Manager ensures that all operational requirements defined in Train Service Agreements (TSAs) and Depot Access Agreements (DAAs) are met, while overseeing third‑party depot performance. The role includes line‑managing Outstation Team Leaders, coordinating with customers, representing Hitachi at performance reviews, and driving continuous improvement through action plans and audits. It also involves maintaining safety‑compliant materials, tooling and equipment, managing contingency response planning, and collaborating with internal stakeholders from Materials, Quality, HSE and Production.
Candidates should hold a relevant degree, HND or equivalent experience, and have a solid background in rolling‑stock maintenance engineering and third‑party supplier management. Familiarity with fleet management, maintenance management systems, and logistics support is required, as is the ability to build and manage budgets and conduct audits. Experience in developing audit schedules and supporting contract/commercial teams is also valued.
