Develops EAP and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) with Safety Manager and third parties.
Coordinates project subcontractor's scopes of work to maintain continuous flow of the project and avoid delays caused by other subcontractor's scopes of work (3 week look ahead).
Facilitates the setup of office trailers, laydown areas, electrical hookups and permits.
Provides quality reports during and after installation of an activity.
Oversees the execution of the work by junior level construction managers and provide coaching and mentoring.
Orders site office supplies, IT equipment, internet services, facilities, and sets up local vendors.
Submits work plans, traffic plans, and project outages to the client for review.
Meets contractual conditions of performance.
Conducts constructability review of project design documents, contract review, and schedule review for scope completeness to identify and communicate project risk.
Reviews the project drawings, project scope, subcontractor scopes, and overall project schedule.
Verifies revisions or changes to existing drawings (maintains the most recent revision).
Verifies materials for the scope on site.
Obtains permits for any of the plans that require them.
Oversees and/or directs construction projects to completion.
Oversees all construction scopes to verify compliance with drawings, safety, and quality.
Prepares internal and external reports pertaining to job status, safety, and quality.
Coordinates required changes with Project Engineers.
Performs material and equipment receiving and tracking.
Performs Project Setup.
Establishes risk factors to the construction process. Manages and mitigates risk factors to ensure construction schedule while maintaining quality.

10+ years of experience in power utility construction management in the fields of Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Testing, and Commissioning Engineering.
Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) or equivalent Safety Certification
Ability to professionally interface verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
Associate's Degree in Construction Management or a related field (In lieu of a degree, an additional 2 years of relevant work experience)
Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings and related standards.
