Additionally, the primary area of responsibility is coordinating scheduled covered task proctoring & performance evaluations with contractors in an efficient manner that minimizes the employee’s time away from work while still meeting all the Operator’s program requirements and providing an OQ program that is of high quality and upholds the highest level of integrity.
Ensures strict adherence to EGW’s safety policies and standards by its clients, contractors, and employees when involved in compliance services activities.
The primary area of responsibility for an OQ Evaluator is to provide compliant Operator Qualification proctoring, poly-fusion training and certifications and conduct performance evaluations.
Assists in the development and execution of EGW’s strategy and plans for Compliance, Training, and Field Services.
Creates and maintains strong relationships with key client stakeholders, the natural gas services community, governmental agencies, Operator Qualifications providers and other vendors within the service delivery industry.
An OQ Evaluator will have the skills and ability to grow in the role to become a reputable point person for contractor clients. An Evaluator will have outreach responsibilities to solicit additional clients and build relationships within the natural gas services community.
Responsible for the quality of EGW’s contractor, field service, and utility training, certifications, and Operator Qualification services. Provides code compliant technical training for EGW personnel, customers, and evaluators to meet the needs of EGW’s provided services.
EGW will pay for and schedule the following training and certifications for Evaluators as appropriate:
Works with the Compliance Manager, Field Services Manager, and the Service Delivery Administrator to manage the implementation and coordination of training and evaluation service operations, and any action plans which promote growth in the Service Delivery department.
This position will assist with the design and construction of simulation stations and tasks to be used for OQ work in Carrollton, TX, and various other areas.
Maintains and/or obtains all self-qualifications and certifications necessary to perform the functions of a qualified EGW OQ Evaluator and participates in providing these services in that capacity.
Assist in Training and OQ for our EGW workforce.

As a trainer in a Safety-Sensitive position, pre- and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.

Experience with underground utility products, i.e., waterworks, plumbing and natural gas utilities.
Proven ability to develop long term relationships with industry peers.
Minimum of 3 or more years of OQ and Training experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent listening, presentation, training skills
Proven experience meeting or exceeding goals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The majority of the scheduled OQ sessions will be performed in the DFW Metroplex, however overnight travel (15%) may be required.
Experienced in providing field services training, operator qualification training and evaluations.
