The Quality Technician I/II/III role (hours: 5 am‑3 pm, Tuesday‑Friday; pay $22.35‑$25.35 per hour) facilitates the parts quality process across the organization, partnering with internal units to ensure precise inspection of incoming parts, supporting Quality Management Systems, and driving data collection, reporting, and analysis.
Technicians conduct audits, implement resolutions, drive process improvements, cross‑train across departments, and assist with NPI/ECN changes. Higher levels add standardized problem‑solving, gauge/tool calibration, training responsibilities, and independent problem resolution using root‑cause methods.

- Train others on quality tools, work instructions, and standard work.
- Lead problem‑solving initiatives and implement countermeasures.
- Perform calibration duties, update KPI boards, and train new technicians.
- Facilitate team or virtual meetings to share job‑related information.
- Solve problems independently within designated authority level.
- Utilize root‑cause techniques such as 5‑Why, 8D, PDCA.
- Maintain professional rapport and communicate quality metrics to teams.
- Perform reading, writing, math, and interpret drawings, wiring, schematics.
- Lift occasional loads of 25‑50 lb and perform regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks.

Candidates need an associate’s degree or equivalent, a high school diploma, and at least three years of quality experience in an operational environment. They must possess strong communication, documentation, basic drawing and schematic interpretation skills, and intermediate knowledge of quality systems such as PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and ISO processes.
- Use intermediate PC skills and quality systems (PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, ISO).
- Apply knowledge of CMM programming and processes.
