The Role

Overview

Support senior staff in coordination, scheduling, cost control, safety, and QA/QC for large projects.

Tasks

-Monitor and measure HSE goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) -Provide timely progress reports to the Project Manager -Attend project meetings, record meeting minutes, present updates, and document action items and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions -Maintain QA/QC records -Ensure implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) on the project site by all project stakeholders -Maintain safety records and take responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP) -Perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to updating schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, monitoring labour, material, and equipment activities, and performing administrative duties on the project -Assist with the review and coordination of the project-specific safety plan -Ensure that the project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful work environment at all times -Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions -Conduct the Client Satisfaction Survey before project closeout -Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes, and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required -Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions, and change orders -Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings

What You Bring

-Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or related field experience is required -Proficient with MS Office Suite -4+ years of experience within a General Contracting environment, working on complex ICI or hi-rise residential projects. -Proficient using scheduling and project management software -Strong presentation skills
