Planning/organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, organizes personal and project timelines and deadlines, tracks project timelines and deadlines, and uses time efficiently.
Coordinate with other corporate stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Finance, Accounting) on requirements for and information needs from projects. Lead the design and development of progress reports for senior management and other stakeholders. Utilize dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time insights. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across departments and project teams to ensure effective implementation of project controls functions.
Establish and maintain tools and standards for the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules and cost baselines. Implement a graded controls approach based on project size and complexity. Provide oversight to project teams to ensure quality and consistency of earned value management baselines, forecasts, and change control. Oversee establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for project health (e.g., SPI, CPI, etc.).
Continuously improve project controls methodologies, processes, standards, and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging lessons learned, benchmarking, and best practices. Perform period organizational assessments. Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, AI, advanced analytics) in collaboration with PMCoE.
Quality Assurance: Commits to the understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards, and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project controls professionals (project control specialists) who are assigned to projects. Experience in the nuclear industry, energy industry, power plant architect/engineering (A/E), power plant engineering procurement construction (EPC), or US Department of Energy nuclear projects. (preferred)

High level knowledge of scheduling (P6), budgeting, ERP and other project controls tools (e.g., PRISM G2) required. Additional required and preferred experience includes:
