Collaborating with in-house counsel, insurance managers, and technical leads to produce fit for purpose internal solutions to commercial risks.
Leading commercial negotiations with various parties, including clients and industry partners, in complex arrangements across joint ventures, design and construct engagements, and collaborative delivery models such as within Alliances and as Integrated Delivery Partners.
Advising our senior leadership on matters of commercial risk and governance.
Handling of contractual frameworks, standard contract forms, and their effective administration including as our trusted representative and at times on behalf of clients.
Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve commercial management procedures, templates, and products that improve our client services.
At times providing clients with consulting advice on commercial elements of infrastructure delivery including in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals.

8-12 years experience working in commercial management for built environment/infrastructure consultancies or directly interfacing with them.
Tertiary qualifications relevant to commercial management, law, quantity surveying, engineering or business.
Demonstrated ability to form strategic partnerships and joint ventures for major infrastructure projects is ideal
Experience in or knowledge of the QLD government specific procurement and delivery strategies
Demonstrated ability to conduct partner and client due diligence, providing recommendations to executives is desired
Demonstrated experience in major projects across one of the transport, defence, energy, water, or built environment markets.
