Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining cost estimates and budgets aligned with project objectives, implementing and managing PMIS to track progress, expenditures, and schedule adherence, and monitoring performance against baselines to address cost or schedule variances. The specialist will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to analyze data, provide optimization recommendations, generate regular reports and dashboards, review documentation and contracts for compliance, and identify opportunities for process improvements while staying updated on industry best practices.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Project Cost & Schedule Control Specialist to oversee project management information systems (PMIS) for cost estimation, budget control, and schedule management on water and wastewater projects. The role requires a strong project‑management background and expertise in using PMIS tools to ensure projects are delivered within established timelines and budgets.
Qualifications require a minimum of 7+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Candidates must have strong knowledge of project‑management processes such as cost controls, CSI, WBS schedule management, and business process management, as well as proficiency in project scheduling control, Oracle Projects Costing, Primavera P6 EPPM, and Unifier.
