Apply knowledge of psychological and physiological factors to assist in the installation of safety features and controls, compensating for the possibility of human errors in the operation of machinery and equipment

Verify and close all identified hazards on project sites

Prepare and present content for internal project team meetings and trade partner meetings
Provide instruction for DAVIS Competent Person and other EHS-related classes
Identify special protective and safety equipment needs for projects with assistance

Develop and apply practical solutions for project safety issues with assistance
Assemble and deliver project start up safety packages for new projects
Conduct routine EHS Audits and inspections on projects using DAVIS-provided software
Distribute open issues reports to project teams
Work with subcontractors to develop overall satisfactory level of safety compliance on projects
Participate in project EHS kick off meetings with project team
Review proposed occupational safety policies, guidelines and standards to determine their consistency and recommend technical changes as needed
Participate in crane plan review
Provide all information and documentation required on weekly incident log
Record hours worked each week for all assigned projects for OSHA tracking
Assist in personal injury and property damage accident investigations; compile data, photographs, and other necessary documentation for reporting purposes
Review JHAs for high hazard activities
Assist with EHS Initiatives and Business Plan items
SAFETY – Consistently works within DAVIS safety standards; promotes safety as a priority with coworkers, subcontractors and external clients
Assist in identification, analysis and control of occupational hazards requiring the application of specialized knowledge, skill and abilities
Participate in OSHA Inspections and consultations
Participate in review of Monthly Project EHS Assessment with project team
