Description

Facility and infrastructure maintenance involves performing preventative and corrective checks, repairs, installations and on‑site inspections of facility components. The incumbent monitors the Building Management System, resolves alarm issues, and operates plumbing, fire suppression and safety systems under the supervision of senior technical staff.

Vendor support includes managing the work approval process for service providers, tracking briefings, daily work, and final reviews, and ensuring vendor activities follow Equinix’s SOPs. Collaboration with vendors also involves updating technical files for plants and equipment to keep documentation current.

Site administration and incident support requires creating site logs such as Maintenance Operation Protocols, identifying single points of failure, and responding to on‑site incidents using established operating procedures.

Work orders and additional projects involve completing routine requests, troubleshooting office equipment, making minor mechanical or electrical changes, and carrying out infrastructure projects as directed.

Collaboration encompasses working with others to resolve facility incidents, mentoring team members on general maintenance activities, providing inventory needs for critical parts, and recommending infrastructure projects.
