Directing the Document Control team to manage the flow, quality, and integrity of project documentation using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring compliance with project standards and procedures.
Monitoring and reporting document control performance metrics, including, processing times, quality and aging reports.
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless document handover and traceability.
Coordinate document number reservations and ensure consistency across technical and non-technical scopes.
Accountable for systems access related to document control.
Auditing the EDMS for accuracy against all documents.
Supervise a team of Document Controllers and provides leadership, performance management and timesheet approval.
Provide training and day-to-day support to internal and external stakeholders on EDMS usage and document control best practices.

Experienced required in Aconex, SharePoint, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio). Experience in SAP is an asset.
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
Proven experience working with EDMS platforms in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience with supplier documentation processing and cycle management.
3–5 years of leadership experience and 8-10 years in document control role within engineering, procurement, and construction project environments.
