The Load Bank Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all types of load banks, including resistor racks, power distribution items, trailers, and low‑voltage cables. Tasks include dismantling, reassembling, rebuilding load banks, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting safety inspections. Work may be performed both in the shop and in the field, but is limited to load‑bank‑related equipment, and does not replace the traditional duties of Shop or Field Mechanics.

The position pays an hourly wage of $50.05‑$52.05 according to the collective bargaining agreement for the location. Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that becomes effective on the first of the month after 30 days of employment and includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, disability, life and travel insurance, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance, and length‑of‑service awards.
