Senior Software Engineer

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with the Product team and customers to understand requirements and implement them as working software.
• Architecture & Development: Design and build microservices and distributed systems using cloud-native architectures. You will be a key contributor in the development and maintenance of a system of loosely-coupled, fine-grained services.
• Agile & CI/CD: As a team member you will actively participate in the Agile software development lifecycle. You will contribute to test automation, define and develop infrastructure-as-code, and ensure robust, automated builds and deployments at an enterprise scale.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical leader within your team, guiding architectural decisions and mentoring junior developers.

About the Role - We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building highly scalable, cloud-native applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you'll contribute to the product from vision to execution, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in C# or other object-oriented languages.
• A Technical Leader & Communicator: You have a history of leading technical teams and are an effective teacher, able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A Pragmatic Problem-Solver: You understand and apply Agile principles in a pragmatic way and have a track record of learning and implementing new software development practices, tools, and languages.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, WCF, and Entity Framework 6.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems incorporating Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging and eventing platforms.
• A Hands-On Developer: You are a highly skilled, hands-on developer with a strong foundation in object-oriented design and development.
• Experience with modern web frameworks like Angular 2+.
• Recent experience with a cloud Recent experience with cloud architecture and development.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Recent experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and modern source control and build systems.
