Utility Locators locate underground utilities for clients and property owners in compliance with 811 dig laws, using utility maps, as‑built civil engineering drawings, GIS data, and electronic locating equipment. They mark utilities with flags or paint, record locations and photos in a cell‑phone app, prepare reports and documentation, investigate damage incidents, and participate in an on‑call rotation.
- Locate underground utilities using 811 tickets, maps, GIS, and electronic equipment.

- Minimum 2 years of utility locator experience.

- Ability to read utility maps and as‑built civil engineering drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT physical; pass drug screening.
- Availability for varying schedules, overtime, and regular attendance.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Self‑motivated, quick learner, team‑oriented, and safety‑focused.
