The company seeks motivated individuals to join as Gas Technicians, playing a vital role in installing and servicing residential and commercial natural‑gas pipelines. Technicians ensure reliable gas distribution from meters to customer appliances while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Although prior natural‑gas construction experience is preferred, on‑the‑job training is provided for eager candidates, and positions are available across Western, Central, Southern Tier, and the Capital Region of New York.
Compensation is based on prevailing‑wage rates and varies by qualification level and county. Level 1 positions start at $21‑$25 per hour, requiring successful completion of operator qualification testing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift at least 100 lb. Level 2 positions pay $26‑$32 per hour and additionally require two years of underground utility construction experience and NGA or similar operator qualifications.
