This role is a 12‑ or 16‑month co‑op opportunity for a Project Technician (Telecom) who will design and deliver telecom infrastructure drawings that meet municipal and client standards, using AutoCAD and GIS data to produce permit‑ready packages, construction sets, and as‑builts.
- Assist with design calculations and drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Support preparation of project schedules, cost estimates, and construction packages.
- Participate in site visits and surveys to gather project data.
- Prepare status reports for ongoing and completed design projects.
- Contribute technical reports for clients and project teams.
- Learn and use design software tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and field staff as part of the project team.

- Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering program (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; basic knowledge of MicroStation or 3D tools is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to project needs.
- Ability to travel for site visits as required.
- Valid driver’s licence preferred.
