- Maintain clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times
- Follow all company and site-specific Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures
- Check levels, falls, and alignments in coordination with the Site Engineer or Supervisor
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete or mortar for bedding and jointing
- Prepare and level sub-bases using compactors and laser levels
- Lay slabs, kerbs, and edging units accurately to line and level
- Carry out slabbing, paving, and finishing works to required levels, falls, and tolerances
- Identify and report any issues such as poor ground conditions, drainage problems, or damaged materials
- Use appropriate tools and equipment (cutters, compactors, trowels, etc.) safely and effectively
- Ensure all surfaces are finished to the required specification and quality
- Carry out pre-start and post-operation checks on tools and small plant, reporting any defects

- Good understanding of levels, falls, and setting out information
- Long-term, consistent work on major projects
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Groundworker, Dumper, Roller, or related categories)
- Strong knowledge of safe working practices in live construction environments
- Experience on RC frame or large infrastructure projects
- SSSTS or equivalent supervisor qualification
- Training in manual handling, confined spaces, or lifting operations
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings and specifications
- Works well both independently and within a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proven experience as a Groundworker, particularly in slabbing, paving, and concrete finishing
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and finish
- Team player with good communication skills and the ability to follow supervision
- A supportive environment that prioritises safety, quality, and teamwork
- Additional plant tickets (Excavator, Telehandler, etc.)
