Do you have HEART? In this role you will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the skilled nursing community and supervise all skilled nursing staff.
As the on‑site executive, you will be the main point of contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public. You will maintain budget accountability and cash flow, aggressively anticipating and minimizing negative variances and deficits. You will hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle corporate policy, maintain all required licenses, and lead staff meetings.
You will promote and protect resident rights by assisting them in making informed decisions and treating them with dignity and respect. Additionally, you will represent the community in local, state, and professional organizations, becoming an integral part of social and civic affairs.
- Serve as on‑site executive leading all operations and acting as primary contact for staff, residents, prospects, agencies, and the public.
- Manage budgets and cash flow, proactively preventing negative variances and deficits.
- Hire, train, discipline, and terminate staff in line with corporate policy.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing requirements.
- Conduct staff meetings and champion resident rights, supporting informed decisions with dignity and respect.
- Represent the community in local, state, and professional organizations and civic affairs.

Qualified candidates must be licensed in Maine as a Nursing Home Administrator or Multi‑level Administrator and have at least two years of experience in the senior housing industry. Strong communication, management, compassion, patience, and the ability to multitask are essential, as is the capacity to relate to ill, disabled, elderly, and occasionally hostile residents.
- Hold a Maine Nursing Home Administrator or Multi‑level Administrator license.
- Minimum 2 years experience in senior housing industry.
- Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and coworkers; relate to ill, disabled, elderly, and potentially hostile residents.
