The Facilities Professional role, part of S&ME’s Shared Services team, is responsible for shaping work environments across the company’s locations. Reporting to operational leaders, the position supports the organization’s growth by overseeing facility decisions, lease management, vendor relationships, and day‑to‑day building operations.
Key responsibilities include communicating lease status and facility needs, evaluating potential properties, collaborating with Legal and the Facilities Manager on lease agreements and financial models, managing vendor services and invoices, processing service tickets, coordinating office moves, maintaining documentation, and updating building layouts and space‑planning records.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced setting while handling multiple priorities. Required qualifications are a high‑school diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred), at least six years of experience in facilities, real‑estate, property or construction management, and familiarity with construction, building systems, and facility‑management tools. Experience with CAD/BIM and a solid understanding of lease agreements, compliance standards, and Microsoft Excel are advantageous.
