Technical Designer

• Creating detailed component drawings for CNC and laser cutting
• Advising on materials, construction techniques, and finishes
• Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from project briefs
• Championing Health & Safety best practices
• Preparing quotations using Rental Management software
• Acting as a positive representative for the company across all stages of project delivery
• Attending site surveys and client meetings to develop projects collaboratively
• Maintaining all project documentation and ensuring deadlines are met
• Supporting Project Managers and workshop teams with technical expertise

• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both colleagues and clients
• Proven experience as a Scenic Draughtsperson (or similar role in events, theatre, or set construction)
• Access to high-spec computers and software
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes
• Experience producing manufacture-ready drawings (CNC/laser cutting)
• Proficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + excellent benefits package
