Serve as a leader delivering traffic engineering services for NCDOT, SCDOT, City of Charlotte, and other local clients.
Administer quality management plans and perform thorough, detailed reviews of project deliverables.
Traffic Volume Development and Forecasting
People development including supervising and/or mentoring junior engineering associates.
Assist in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities.
Actively manage projects and discipline specific tasks including performing project management activities (project scope, schedule, budget, and quality management).

Minimum 7 years of traffic engineering experience including proven technical leadership (decision-making on technical matters).
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred.
Capacity and Microsimulation Analysis
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and can effectively interact and build strong relationships with team members, clients, and other key stakeholders.
PE License
Proficient in production and traffic software including HCS, Synchro, Sidra, TransModeler, and MicroStation.
Safety Studies and Crash Predictive Analysis
ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
