Gleeds is seeking experienced LeadQuantity Surveyors to lead the commercial delivery of major engineering and equipment contracts within the nuclear defence sector. These programmes underpin critical national capability and involve some of the most technically complex and secure assets in the country.
As an Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial leadership across contracts involving complex M&E systems, advanced manufacturing and specialist infrastructure providing assurance, governance and commercial oversight. This role ensures contracts are being delivered correctly, at cost and on time.
Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, in the Nuclear / Civil engineering / Engineering (Including Service Contracting) sectors.
- Qualifications Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, in the Nuclear / Civil engineering / Engineering (Including Service Contracting) sectors. Advanced experience of standard forms of contract, including the NEC suite. Ideally HNC, HND or Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law, or similar / relevant discipline, or in some case applicants with an alternative background (e.g.: Engineering) may be considered if there is significant on the job experience. Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or other relevant Chartered Institute are desirable, and will be supported if not already attained.
