Commercial Legal Counsel supporting the business in bids and project advisory work for the Signalling and Rail Solutions Line of Business in the Americas region.

.Work closely with the compliance team to uphold ethical conduct and compliance standards
.Ensure compliance with laws and regulations across commercial, corporate, and regulatory aspects
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate legal, commercial, and reputational risks, working closely with contract managers and other operational stakeholders
m.Produce high-quality, accurate outputs with minimal suppor
.Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to stakeholders. Topics include regulation, construction, intellectual property, data protection, corporate law, M&A, procurement, real estate, litigation, and employment
.Support the delivery of training, templates, tools, and practices across Canada
:Support bidding, negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution for major train manufacturing, signalling, construction, and railway technology projects, with a focus on manufacturing and maintenance contracts (MSAs, TSAs, TSSSAs), PPPs, JVs/consortium agreements, and supply chain contracts
