Building Services Manager

Description

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
• Produce and contribute to project reports and status updates.
• Deliver MEP building services works across assigned buildings, fully integrated with fabric and fit-out.
• Manage services design and ensure integration with overall project design.
• Drive innovation and solutions-based approaches to any emerging issues on site
• Coordinate closely with project managers, design managers, and commercial teams.
• Review drawings, technical submittals, and RAMS for compliance.
• Chair meetings with clients, designers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation and commissioning processes to meet programme requirements.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of M&E design and installations, with proven experience managing MEP packages on high-value projects.
• Background in main contracting or specialist MEP contracting.
• SMSTS (5-day) certification.
• CSCS card.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and people management skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills.
