Project Manager

Description

The Project Manager plans, directs, coordinates, and budgets activities related to the construction and maintenance of asphalt pavement. This role participates in the conceptual development of projects and oversees organization, scheduling, and implementation to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery. Responsibilities include analyzing objectives, managing budgets, ensuring quality control, assessing risk, allocating resources, and communicating with stakeholders.

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget asphalt pavement construction and maintenance.
• Oversee project conceptual development, organization, scheduling, and implementation.
• Analyze objectives, manage project budgets, and enforce quality control.
• Assess and mitigate risks, estimate and allocate resources.
• Communicate with sales, senior management, crews, and subcontractors.
• Identify, manage, and control project changes.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a BA (or equivalent experience) combined with two years of relevant training, strong analytical and geometry skills, and a solid understanding of mathematics. Experience in construction trades, project management, and Timberline software is preferred, as is a master’s degree. Leadership, urgency, effective client interaction, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and internet tools are essential.
