Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to CPA Canada standards and the Income Tax ActQualifications
Prepare year-end financial statements and working papers for audits, reviews, and compilations.
Prepare and review corporate, personal, trust, and not-for-profit tax returns (T1, T2, T3, T3010).
Handle bookkeeping support, including payroll, GST/HST filings, and other government remittances.
Develop and update review/compilation plans for ongoing clients.
Assist clients with accounting software (QuickBooks, CaseWare, etc.) and workflow optimization.
Meet with clients to present financials, discuss year-end results, and provide guidance.
Supervise, train, and review the work of junior staff accountants.
Conduct fieldwork for review and audit engagements.

Strong technical knowledge of Canadian GAAP and income tax principles.
Proven experience with CaseWare and Profile (or similar tax preparation software).
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in public accounting, including both audit and tax.
Completion of a professional accounting program (CPA designation preferred, or in progress).
Proficiency in QuickBooks, CaseWare, Profile, Excel, and Word.
Strong supervisory and mentoring abilities.
