Payroll Controller

Description

• Set up new employees on the Company time management/recording system.
• Recording of annual leave allocation/applications.
• Input all required information to payroll system for new starters and leavers.
• Submission of any PAYE/NI payments and documentation.
• Carry out briefings in relation to the Company time management/recording system.
• Posting of journals in relation to e.g. pensions, CSA, court arrestment.
• Liaise with relevant Managers to resolve pay queries.
• Processing of time sheets.
• Checking and processing of required payments in respect of: expenses, annual leave, statutory sick/maternity/paternity pay.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A sound knowledge of software packages, primarily Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable experience working in a similar position, ideally within a high volume environment.
• A sound knowledge of all statutory and legislative directives/time lines.
