Key responsibilities include managing construction materials testing projects by reviewing daily reports, collaborating with project teams, resolving technical and administrative issues, and training field staff. You will also manage project budgets, prepare invoices and pay applications, and assist with collection efforts while preparing and reviewing proposals and change orders.
The position requires hosting or attending client meetings, following up on reports, actively mentoring junior project managers, and supporting overall team development. You will collaborate with other managers and internal recruiters on staffing decisions and successfully market ECS services while establishing and maintaining client relationships.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Professional licensure such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required, along with a valid driver's license and insurance. Strong marketing, communication, safety, CMT principles, ASTM standards knowledge, and leadership skills are essential.
