The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all machines, operating various machine‑shop equipment such as power presses and fabricating tools, and fabricating safety guards. The role also involves die setup, assisting large production jobs, designing and building dies, tooling, and prototypes, as well as troubleshooting and repairing production tooling and cutting tools.
- Make repairs to all machines
- Operate all types of machine shop equipment, including power presses and fabricating equipment
- Fabricate and install safety guards on machines
- Set up dies in power presses
- Assist with large production jobs
- Design and build a die from a part print or sample part
- Troubleshoot production tooling/dies and perform necessary repairs
- Design and build machine tools, cutting tools, and other manufacturing tools
- Work on prototypes for the Engineering Department
- Perform form grinding
- Check tooling and provide measurements to the Engineering Department
- Operate material handling equipment and required tools

Benefits
The position is hourly, non‑exempt, with a starting pay range of $23.00‑$28.25 per hour, subject to geography, experience, and qualifications, and includes overtime eligibility. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, a 401(k) plan, short‑term disability, generous paid birthing and bonding leave, life and long‑term disability insurance, and paid time off, holidays, and floating holidays.
