- Ensure proper backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement of trenches.

- Skilled in setting up and using pipe lasers for accuracy in line and level.
- Capable of managing groundwater through the correct selection and use of pumps.
- Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g., Telehandler, Roller).
- Proficient in the safe installation of trench boxes, drag boxes, and manhole boxes.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work alongside trades and operatives to support programme delivery.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional on site.
- Valid CSCS Card
- Confident working around live services with a strong focus on service avoidance.
- 5-10+ years’ experience as a skilled Pipelayer/Groundworker.
- Competent in the installation of concrete, clay, and plastic pipes of all sizes, ensuring correct bedding, surround, and pressure testing.
- Operate a Forward Tipping Dumper (valid CPCS/NPORS ticket essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experienced working gangs/teams are highly valued.
- Experienced in benching manholes and completing drainage chambers to a high standard.
