- Working closely with Applications Engineers in the Data Centers and Industrial & Construction teams to define and document applications engineering processes.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Applications Engineering playbook and related SharePoint content.
- Creating and maintaining work instructions for Applications Engineers using AI-enabled tools.
- Collecting and analyzing quotation data to identify trends and support budgetary offer development.
- Assisting with the enhancement and adoption of AI and digital tools within the Applications Engineering workflow.

- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar knowledge-management platforms.
- Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
- Experience creating process documentation or work instructions.
- Exposure to applications engineering or technical sales support processes.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts related to pricing, quotations, or cost analysis.
- Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
- Experience with or exposure to AI and digital tools.
- Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical equipment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
