Working closely with Applications Engineers in the Data Centers and Industrial & Construction teams to define and document applications engineering processes.
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Applications Engineering playbook and related SharePoint content.
Creating and maintaining work instructions for Applications Engineers using AI-enabled tools.
Collecting and analyzing quotation data to identify trends and support budgetary offer development.
Assisting with the enhancement and adoption of AI and digital tools within the Applications Engineering workflow.

Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
Familiarity with SharePoint or similar knowledge-management platforms.
Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
Experience creating process documentation or work instructions.
Exposure to applications engineering or technical sales support processes.
Basic understanding of financial concepts related to pricing, quotations, or cost analysis.
Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
Experience with or exposure to AI and digital tools.
Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical equipment.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
