Support rack buildouts, patch panel mapping, and IP assignments.
Monitor network ports, assist in MAC address tracking, and patch audits.
Configure Layer 2 switch settings, VLANs, and port assignments.

Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
Experience configuring switches from vendors like Cisco or Arista.
Must be able to work well with other people
2-4+ years of hands-on networking or IT infrastructure experience.
CCNA or CompTIA Network+ or equivalent; fiber certs a plus.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Must be able to communicate with the customer and have excellent customer service skills.
Must be enthusiastic, passionate, patient and a critical thinker.
Basic Hand Tools: screwdriver - all sizes (regular and Phillips,), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (adjustable, needle nose, lineman), hammer, cable stripper, flashlight and gloves. Multimeter, butt-set, toner/wand.
Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
Familiarity with CLI tools, structured documentation, and cabling maps.
Must be able to diagnose and fix problems with existing equipment and new installs.
Regular attendance is mandatory
