Research: Completing peer reviews, providing recommendations, and quality control/quality review of technical reports;
Environmental Site Assessments: Overseeing project teams performing complex Phase I to IV Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs);
Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
Technical Troubleshooting: Performing senior review and regulatory compliance oversight;
Engineering Solutions Design: Overseeing, planning, and designing of environmental sampling and analysis work plans;
Testing: Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
Project Management: Supervising project teams completing field activities including monitoring/sampling, excavation, drilling and remedial activities; Procuring services and contract management; Supporting Project Managers and Business Groups on various environmental and industrial projects; Leading internal project teams for multi-media assessments of complex sites; Possessing strong project management, coordination and planning skills to meet client timelines and budget;
Client & Customer Management (External): Interacting with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies;
Engineering Drawings: Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Completing of environmental risk assessments; Implementing and enforcing project specific health and safety plans on project sites;
Personal Capability Building: Supporting the growth of the environmental practice in Eastern Canada.

Attention to detail. Ability to analyze and synthesize.
A comprehensive understanding and experience with Federal framework and/or FCSAP process would be a great asset.
Excellent communication, mentoring and technical writing skills.
Available to manage, coordinate and/or work on sites throughout Atlantic Canada, or outside the Region, on occasion.
Knowledge of Provincial and Federal environmental guidelines and regulations.
An undergraduate or Graduate degree in Science or Engineering. P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation considered an asset.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments; meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
Bilingual in French and English are considered an asset.
Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;
A minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience completing ESAs and remediation projects.
