Pricing Support Specialist

Description

• Assist in collecting and analyzing pricing data, including competitor rates, market trends, and historical engagement data.
• Support the development and maintenance of pricing models for various service lines and project types.
• Conduct scenario planning and margin simulations to support winning proposals.
• Prepare pricing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Escalate decisions based on pricing governance, including bid approvals, exception management, and pricing risk reviews.
• Benchmark pricing against data sets including industry norms and internal historical data.
• Regularly audit ongoing projects for compliance with pricing as set at the proposal stage, including any custom rate cards.
• Build and maintain pricing tools for project forecasting, rate sensitivity, and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with proposal managers, finance, and business leaders to develop pricing for RFPs, Framework Agreements, and renewals.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial operations within a professional services or consulting firm.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and pricing software.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies, market analysis, and proposal support.
