You explain and enforce all working procedures related to procurement, package management, expediting, inspection, logistics, material control
As a Supply Chain Discipline Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that proper supply chain resources are allocated to projects and operations activities and sufficiently skilled to achieve company targets and deliverables.
You develop a staffing plan by coordinating with project/operations management to define the manpower requirements and provide qualified resources
You manage the staffing plan to suit current and future workload needs and proactively resolve any resource gaps through effective networking with other departments, locations or third party providers
Execution: ensure quality of all supply chain deliverables in line with Company standards, international and local regulations
You make sure the team is provided with career opportunities and training in relevant areas aligned with current and future business needs
Staffing: ensure that proper resources are allocated to project / operations
You provide coaching and mentoring to staff, implement and follow development plans
You assess project/operations requirements and staff capabilities
You proactively address team performance issues and partner with HR as necessary to manage performance gaps
You are involved in project activities at the early phase to ensure realistic KPIs are set (quality, quantity schedule, costs)
You foster cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency, cost control, quality and compliance within the supply chain function. This role also involves mentoring and developing supply chain teams to enhance capabilities and achieve operational excellence.
You cascade and explain all deliverables provided by Strategic Sourcing and get them implemented (Group Framework Agreements, Approved Vendor Lists, benchmarks, market analysis, vendor action plans…)
You ensure compliance with company procedures (ethics and compliance, quality and regulatory management, international and local regulations etc..)

Ideally experience with ERP systems, supply chain software, and data analysis for decision-making and process optimization.
Strong knowledge of global supply chain best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with skills in training, mentoring, and developing supply chain professionals.
Extensive experience in supply chain management within the oil and gas industry or complex project environment
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
