The associate safely operates powered take-up and wire processing equipment, pulls wire from large reels, and accurately measures and cuts it to customer-specified lengths. They install and secure pulling heads, package, label, and stage completed orders, and perform quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. Daily equipment inspections, production log maintenance, and keeping the work area clean and hazard-free are also essential duties.

Working in a fast-paced warehouse, the associate will efficiently and safely prepare wire for shipment while upholding high quality standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with prior experience in wire processing, electrical distribution, or manufacturing preferred. The role requires the ability to read cut sheets and technical specifications, proficiency with measuring tools, basic math, and mechanical aptitude for safely using hand and power tools; forklift certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and alignment with Power Design’s core values are required, along with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly (and occasional 75 lb lifts with assistance), push/pull heavy reels, and stand or move for extended periods in a noisy, dusty warehouse environment.
