The Assistant Manager – QAQC is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of quality management systems across construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations to deliver high-quality projects.

Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and monthly quality performance summaries.
Ensure proper documentation and handover of quality records during project completion.
Review and maintain QAQC documentation including checklists, inspection reports, test results, and quality records.
Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and ensure timely closure of inspection observations.
Participate in management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, statutory requirements, and safety standards related to quality.
Support internal and external audits, including ISO and client audits.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants on quality-related matters.
Assist in implementing and maintaining the QAQC system in line with ISO standards and Sobha quality benchmarks.
Ensure proper control, testing, and approval of incoming materials.
Ensure compliance with approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site audits, quality inspections, and surveillance of ongoing works.
Assist in training site teams and subcontractors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Identify non-conformances (NCRs), analyze root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Monitor workmanship quality for civil, finishing, MEP, and structural works as applicable.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across project teams.
